Basin Material Handling (Sturgis, MI)  is seeking a forklift driver with strong organizational skills.  This position facilitates and expedites the flow of materials to/from various departments by performing the following duties.  Experience required. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Transports material or racks to and from designated areas in the facility.
• Loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as trucks.
• Checking loads are secure. 
• Moving goods packed on pallets or on material carts around the facility.
• Stacking goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions.
• Examining products to verify conformance to quality standards. 
• Dumping materials into machine scrap hoppers.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck's battery and lubricating equipment.
• Removing machine attachments and waste material from machines. (machine operator is to remove attachments and reattach when finished charging).
• Safely operates material handling equipment. Ex. forklifts, pallet jacks.
• Excellent Attendance
• Must be punctual and timely in meeting all requirements of performance, including, but not limited to, attendance standards and work deadlines; beginning and ending assignments on time; and scheduled work breaks; where applicable.
